Cardiff Transitional
This gorgeous home tucked away in a charming Cardiff-by-the-Sea neighborhood was calling for a fresh, transitional update. The homeowners wanted a contemporary feel with elements of traditional design and comfort to reflect their personal styles. We used the original footprint of the powder bath and boy's bathrooms and brought new life in with fresh paint, custom vanities, quartzite countertops and sleek hardware and plumbing fixtures. The master bath was built from scratch by combining two bedrooms in to one master suite. The eye-catching black hexagon floor tiles in both the boy's bathroom and the master bath brought in a fun element while still providing a neutral base for both spaces. We used the beveled glossy white subway tiles and ran it in a diagonal hexagon pattern in the master shower - a classic with a bit of flare.
